Reheasal for the 9am Contemporary Service: meets Thursdays at 6:30 pm for rehearsal. Plan on about an 2 hours. All are welcome!

Rehearsals for the 11am Traditional Service: meets Wednesdays at 7pm. Again, plan on around an hour and a half. There are still seats available for sopranos and altos, as well as a couple of tenor and bass seats left too!

Greeetings from the Music Department  Our 9am & 11am Services are packed with music. The 9am being a contemporary Service includes a wide variety of songs. The band's rhythm section: drums, electric bass, acoustic guitars, and a praise team of vocalists. All are welcome. 

The 11am Choir is a group of friendly, talented and welcoming singers who gather together to sing out of the '82 hymnal in harmony and with descants as well as an offering of music for an anthem. Pipe organ and acoustic piano are utilized during this Service. We have a unique repertoire of liturgical music.

We are instituting a new youth choir program at St. Helena's this year!  The program will be based on The Royal School of Church Music (RSCM) choir program for children and youth.

This year we will focus on the "youth" and in the following years we will add a younger group and then hopefully, a high school group.  The choir program rewards children as they learn the fundamentals of music theory, proper voice training and sight-singing. 

This year the youth choir will be open to youth in grades 5-8 and will meet on Wednesday afternoons immediately following ROCK Solid.  For more information contact Chalon Murray at chalonmurray@hotmail.com.

We are St. Helena's youth worship leaders.  We meet on Sundays at 11 a.m. to rehearse.We are made up of 7th through 12th graders.  Keyboard, drums, bass guitar and vocal worship leaders.                 

We lead worship every once in a while at the 9 a.m. worship service.

St. Helena's Church has been working with Contemporary Christian Worship and Music since 1999.  We've learned a lot along the way about things that work, and things that don't work for us. 

We believe we are called as a parish to be a resource to other congregations - especially those who desire to introduce contemporary worship and music to their schedule.

In Hymn is composed of 6 talented musicians and worship leaders who feel called to help other churches experience and explore contemporary music.  The group travels to other congregations on Sunday mornings, or at other times, to share what they have learned.
