Women's Ministries Mother's Day Luncheon

St. Helena's Angels for Elders is a ministry that provides rides for seniors to and from medical and dental appointments, grocery shopping and/or pharmacy pick-up, and to St. Helena's church for services and programs. If anyone needs a ride or can help provide transportation, contact David Powell at (830)755-4262 or Gene Smith at (210)698-1396.

A dedicated task force led by Children's Minister Dawn McLendon has been hard at work exploring the possibility of opening an early Early Enrichment Program at St. Helena's.  The task force presented their work and recommendations to the Vestry in May, 2007 and the Vestry encouraged the group to continue to move forward.  The plan is to open the center in August, 2008 with a starting enrollment of 36 children.  The center would be open 2 days a week and will serve a significant need in our growing community.  Stay tuned for more information as plans continue to develop.
